Metrocon

I would just like to give a shout-out to everyone at Metrocon. I hope you are enjoying Tampa and a weekend full of anime, cosplay and fun. Although I am not with you; I look forward to amazing pics and fun stories from those I know who will be there.

There is something special about being at a convention and seeing everyone in costume, enjoying themselves. Seeing favorite actors and actresses joining in the fun and giving panels and sighing autographs is also great phone. There are dances and raves and other goodies to be had.

That being said, I hope everyone had a great weekend and drives home safely and soundly.

Working Unplugged

At the moment, I have no internet access in my dwelling.  I have become a café dweller, a nomad looking for Wi-Fi wherever I go. I thought I would go unhinged when I learned I would be without internet at my fingertips 24/7. I was only half right. There is a freedom to not working at home. It makes me feel like I actually have a real job.

Needless to say, taking me away from direct access to fan fiction, new anime and great YouTube videos is having some effect on me. Will I survive with all my nerves intact? We will have to wait and see.
